RACCOON OS Presented at IAC 2025 and DLRK

Over the past weeks, the RACCOON OS team had the opportunity to present its work at two major space conferences: the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025 in Sydney and the German Aerospace Congress (DLRK) in Augsburg. Both events offered a unique opportunity to share our vision of a secure, open, and trustworthy satellite software platform with experts, students, and representatives from research, industry, and government agencies.

We were delighted to engage with so many passionate and curious people, to build new connections, and to discuss the future of cybersecurity in space. It was particularly exciting to see the strong interest in the key concepts behind RACCOON OS — such as the strict sandbox separation of applications, the zero-trust approach, and the possibilities of securely deploying open-source software in critical space systems.

Your feedback, questions, and ideas inspire us to keep pushing development forward and to turn the vision of a trusted operating system for small satellites into reality.
