  • We do not set cookies (including third-party or profiling cookies).
  • We do not build user profiles, run accounts, or send marketing emails.

Server log files

When you access this site, our hosting provider processes minimal technical data (“server logs”): IP address, date/time, requested URL and status code, referrer (if sent), and user agent. Purpose / legal basis: website delivery, stability, security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests). Retention: logs are stored only as long as needed for security/troubleshooting and then deleted.

US Visitors & Children’s Privacy

US visitors

Our site is operated from the EU and is informational only. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising. Many US state privacy laws (e.g., California’s CCPA/CPRA) do not generally apply to nonprofits. Note, however, that Colorado’s Privacy Act applies to nonprofits above certain thresholds (e.g., controlling/processing data of 100,000+ consumers annually, or selling personal data of 25,000+). We currently do not meet these thresholds.

Children’s privacy (COPPA)

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not use tracking technologies or analytics. Our hosting provider may process minimal server logs (e.g., IP address, time, URL, user-agent) strictly for security and site operation; such processing qualifies as support for internal operations under US COPPA guidance. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us at privacy@rccn.space

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority, e.g., in Germany: Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection.

Security

We use TLS (HTTPS) to protect data in transit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this notice if our website or services change or to reflect legal requirements. The current version is shown above.
